Josie Chen

First and foremost, I aspire to love God and love others. As a first-generation, low-income college student, I am currently exploring a joint concentration in History of Science and East Asian Studies along with a secondary degree in Global Health & Health Policy. Drawing from my experiences in martial arts and lifeguarding, I hope to pursue a career in sports/orthopedic or emergency medicine. As much as I love my hometown in Oakland, California, I am eager to travel the world and dismantle local and global health inequities.
